Baron Gordon
Raised in Hawaii and Arizona, Baron Gordon is said to be one of the most versatile, yet original modern artists to date. He is well known for his unique use of composition, color, light, space and materials. Gaining inspiration from his recently completed polycarbonate series, Baron has started development of design of his life size 'Soulbots' lamps. (Be on the look out for his new Neon light series). Baron Gordon is a prominent figure in the Arizona art community. He is know to sit in on panel discussions on such topics from "Modern Street Art and its connection to Art Galleries" to "Low Brow Artist Business Etiquette". He is also know for getting himself, as well as his art work, involved with"grass roots" community campaigns and for charity fundraisers.
In 2003 he and Adam Dumper (DumperFoo.com) co-founded an artist resource and social outreach program, The Alpha Monster Artist Collective / Alpha Monster Clique. Baron also contributed to the creation of the previous PRODUCE art space with Adam Wheeler and Andrew Benson. He recently ended his year and a half stint as the first resident chalk board artist for the SOLSTICE saturday weekly at Bar Smith, in Phoenix Arizona. He recently (05/06/2010) launched the Grand opening of 5 and 6 Fine Art Space (Enjoy5and6.com)
Baron has consulted on art concepts for various prominent restaurateurs, advertising agencies, record labels, photographers, published periodicals, bands, art galleries, clothing lines, museums, charitable groups and non-profit organizations.
